Rollback granted
Hi Meiloorun. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Widr (talk) 17:41, 14 August 2016 (UTC)
Incandescence
Did it improoved? I really dfont know if a chemical reaction inhibit incandescence but it seems to me that both things are not related, articler said: "when no" impliying that both phenomena were exclusive so i changed it for "wether or not" to imply that both can be simultaneus, but in depth im not sure- P.S.: I already have an account. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 167.56.225.59 (talk) 22:14, 18 August 2016 (UTC)

Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. - @Hancman: Yes, but that is not why I CSD tagged your page. I tagged it for its lack of notability because I couldn't find any third party sources that could verify the notability of the organization. Meiloorun (talk) 🍁 03:23, 21 September 2016 (UTC)
Hello, I'm not sure if this where I'm supposed to post on your talk page, But I was wondering exactly how my Wikipedia page was thought as vandalism? I understand that most likely you couldn't find any third party resources as it is an idea fairly new and it's not well known, hence the reason I put it on Wikipedia. I would also like to thank you for your willingness to help spread information and get rid of false information I greatly appreciate it. -From Colbareia — Preceding unsigned comment added by Colbareia (talk • contribs) 05:38, 26 September 2016 (UTC)

Hay in the future I want to add an Article About the Amazing Athiest, could you give me advice on how to write it so it is a viable Wikipedia Article Lord Akira otafuku Lord Akira otafuku Talk 13:16, 5 October 2016 (UTC)
- @Lord Akira otafuku: First I highly recommend you take a look at Wikipedia:Your first article. Since you are planning on making an article about a youtube personality, you should first gather references from reliable sources about the subject. To get started I suggest you try using the "News" section on Google to find related articles. You also should also write the article in a neutral tone. For example, it is bad to say "John Smith is a famous and well-known youtube personality." Instead, you should write, "John Smith is a Youtube personality, comedian, best known for his cat videos on YouTube." These are just a couple of examples of how to write an article. If you need further help, you can visit Help:Getting started to find many useful links and tutorials. Cheers, Meiloorun (talk) 🍁 00:03, 7 October 2016 (UTC)

Tags on Ronald "Bee-Stinger" Savage
I just knew you would had put a tag on my page, just because none was there on the article -SMH.... If you have the time to place the tag you should fix what you see instead of doing what you did, so i'm respectfully asking to point out in your opinion what punctuation's you see need to be fixed in my article, you could had left it on my talk page Meiloorun instead of the unnecessary tag on the article in my opinion to disrespect this great hero to many people that I took the time to research (I respectfully hope this is not a edit war or attack on this man) I'm respectully asking if you can remove your tag and place it on my talk page. Street sting (talk) 05:12, 10 October 2016 (UTC)
- I don't put down maintainence tags because I dislike you or just for the sake of it. I tagged the page in order to inform other editors of the various grammar and tone mistakes in this article. For example, but not limited to, you wouldn't find the sentence, "You can use this DVD as a tip for preparing for college proccess." in an encyclopedia. Commas need to be place in front of dates at the beginning of sentences such as "In 2015,". Some phrases are not neutral and are subjective such as "the biggest shock wave throughout Hip Hop history". This phrase is subjective because others may disagree with this. I hope you understand my explainations for the tags and I hope you can use some of these tips to improve your article. For more info, please check out Wikipedia:Writing better articles. Meiloorun (talk) 🍁 05:31, 10 October 2016 (UTC)
"the biggest shock wave throughout Hip Hop history" was taken from news clip's so i wrote what the NEWS WROTE as the NEW YORK DAILY NEWS, THE ASSOCIATED PRESS, AND HIP HOP WEBSITES, if you make a comment you need to do your own research before making a statement as this one, I would not had put it if i did not read it -SMH... anyway you can go go www.allhiphop.com and hear those words YOURSELF..
"You can use this DVD as a tip for preparing for college proccess." was taken from the NEW YORK LIBRARY statement on the DVD - as i said you need to read the ref before placing tags, so far what you have said ARE BACKED UP by my ref;s . I respectfully ask if you can remove your tags and place them on my talk page. Street sting (talk) 05:42, 10 October 2016 (UTC)
- I am beginning to make changes to your article for style. If statements are directly taken from a news source, they must be quoted. The fact you have good refs, does not mean your article fits Wikipedia's style. I will continue to work on the article and will not remove the tags until it fits Wikipedia's guidelines. Thank you for understanding, Meiloorun (talk) 🍁 05:46, 10 October 2016 (UTC)
Then I take it your changes will make it fit Wikipedia's guidelines, if that is the case Thank you very much.Street sting (talk) 05:47, 10 October 2016 (UTC)

November 2016
Hello Meiloorun. Thanks for patrolling new pages – it's a very important task! I'm just letting you know, however, that there is consensus that we shouldn't tag pages as lacking context (CSD A1) and/or content (CSD A3) moments after they are created, as you did at Nigel A Robinson. It is also suggested that pages that might meet CSD A7 criteria not be tagged for deletion immediately after they are created. It's usually best to wait at least 10–15 minutes for more content to be added if the page is very short, and the articles should not be marked as patrolled. Tagging such pages in a very short space of time may drive away well-meaning contributors, which is not good for Wikipedia. Attack pages (G10), blatant nonsense (G1), copyright violations (G12) and pure vandalism/blatant hoaxes (G3) should of course be tagged and deleted immediately. Thanks. Adam9007 (talk) 00:53, 23 November 2016 (UTC)
- I apologize for my misunderstanding. I was unaware of this consensus earlier. Now I understand and this won't happen again. Meiloorun (talk) 🍁 01:08, 23 November 2016 (UTC)
New page reviewer granted
Hello Meiloorun. Your account has been added to the "New page reviewers
" user group, allowing you to review new pages and mark them as patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or in some cases, tag them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is a vital function for policing the quality of the encylopedia, if you have not already done so, you must read the new tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the various deletion criteria. If you need more help or wish to discuss the process, please join or start a thread at page reviewer talk.
- Be nice to new users - they are often not aware of doing anything wrong.
- You will frequently be asked by users to explain why their page is being deleted - be formal and polite in your approach to them too, even if they are not.
- Don't review a page if you are not sure what to do. Just leave it for another reviewer.
- Remember that quality is quintessential to good patrolling. Take your time to patrol each article, there is no rush. Use the message feature and offer basic advice.
The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In case of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, the right can be revoked at any time by an administrator. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 03:55, 25 November 2016 (UTC)
New Page Review - newsletter
- Breaking the back of the backlog
If each reviewer does only 10 reviews a day over five days, the backlog will be down to zero and the daily input can then be processed by each reviewer doing only 2 or 3 reviews a day - that's about 5 minutes work!
Let's get that over and done with in time to relax for the holidays.
- Second set of eyes
Not only are New Page Reviewers the guardians of quality of new articles, they are also in a position to ensure that pages are being correctly tagged for deletion and maintenance and that new authors are not being bitten. This is an important feature of your work. Read about it at the new Monitoring the system section in the tutorial.
- Getting the tools we need - 2016 WMF Wishlist Survey: Please vote
With some tweaks to their look, and some additional features, Page Curation and New Pages Feed could easily be the best tools for patrollers and reviewers. We've listed most of what what we need at the 2016 WMF Wishlist Survey. Voting starts on 28 November - please turn out to make our bid the Foundation's top priority.
